Best and most intimate listening club in Cleveland.
So if you haven't ever been to the Barking Spider, listening room, in University Circle, come on down. It's a warm, comfortable, reasonably priced, non-pressured friendly environment with at least two music acts per night, spanning many genre, and no cover charge. Jenna and her staff treat customers as friends.

I recently had a great experience singing and playing at The Barking Spider - the atmosphere is relaxed and familiar, but the audience listened attentively and gave generously! Cleveland, its musicians and its music lovers, are incredibly fortunate to have such a wonderful venue, where LIVE MUSIC can be experienced and shared virtually every day of the year. All hail The Barking Spider - and Jenna, who devotes her life to making it happen!
Great place to showcase local and not so local talent. This place is truly a gem.
Great place! It's where you want to go to listen to live music (especially on the warmer nights bc you can sit outside at picnic tables), hang with friends, and just relax. It's a wonderful establishment with a laid-back, college feel (it's so close to CWRU) and Jenna and Marnie are fantastic!
Great music. Good people. Patio in the summer. Fireplace in the winter. Come and feel at home.
