I thought I made myself clear when I said ( over the phone , and in person ) that I did not want my dog's nails clipped ; they are short enough. I wanted the sharp edges rounded off. When my dog came out, his nails had been clipped, but the edges had not been filed , making the edges even sharper. Some of them were ragged. A little work with an emery board didn't help much. My dog was too freaked out by then. The girl said that walking on the sidewalk will help round off the edges, but I needed them rounded today : a playmat... read more

They are wonderful! Have taken 2 rescue dogs and my boys were very nervous and scared. The 2nd visit? My boys were calm, and were trusting as they walked through the office- stopped, glanced back and still felt the people's kind, and caring energy. The matts were bad on my cocker. You have to shave to down near the skin. 8 years and still prefer The B. L.!
We have been visiting the Barking Lot for 22 years with two different dogs. We have NEVER had a bad experience. The staff is caring, kind, and extremely competent. Thank you Steve and staff!
