I started three months ago from doing absolutely no exercise/working out since my kids were born (now 4 and 7). With a busy work and volunteer schedule I thought I didn't have time/I thought working out was boring. Being part of a group and mixing it up with music/ differentiating routines makes it approachable and entertaining. Bar method challenges me and gives me "options" to make it harder when I think I can push myself even more. The Bar Method North Potomac offers a fantastic way to strengthen, tone, and reshape every inch of your body. Love going to bar method at kentlands! The exercise really builds up the core strength, strengthens the deep muscles, and improves flexibility. I've been with this bar method studio for more than a year, and goes 3-5 times a week! The strength and flexibility gained from bar class also help me with my other dancing class! Strongly recommend!

I've been going to Bar Method North Potomac for over three years. I wanted to strengthen my core after a herniated disc and thought I should try a barre class after completing PT. I read about Bar Method first and liked that the exercises were designed under the guidance of physical therapists. I started off taking a class a week and now I take it regularly (~4x/wk) along with dance fitness. Instructors are very caring and knowledgable. Your whole body feels toned after the workout.

I was impressed with the results I saw in my good friend who has been doing bar regularly for a couple years, and she was kind enough to take me as a guest for my first class. I was looking for something different to get me out of my workout slump and to get me in shape for my wedding. Bar did both. I have to admit I was rather intimidated and apprehensive at first, but the instructors are all awesome and encouraging and make you feel so comfortable, even if you are flexibility challenged like myself. �
