First time here,my son has come here for years. Right down from square. Had bar b que pork sandwich on texas toast,delicious and fries really seasoned,taste great. Our server, Carl was the best,courteous,upbeat,professional and right there b4 we needed to ask. Very nice lunch day. Will be back.
Great Memphis-style BBQ, pork sandwich and onion rings-
This place and Paynes are the BEST. The meat is tender, smoky, and not overcooked. The sauce, simply divine. Look no further, its right here.
Had dinner of brisket, dry rub barbecue pork ribs, coleslaw, greens, beans, and Texas toast. Meat was succulent lean and delicious. Sides were absolutely great. Anyone traveling through Memphis should stop and have a feast. Enjoy!
We drove 2.5 hours to Memphis, and we were not disappointed! The Bar-B-Q Shop was excellent! The sauce is great and very unique, and the potato salad was something I have never had before! We had chicken, beef and pork; all delicious. Plus our waiter, Robert was by far the nicest person we met in Memphis!!!
We don't go anywhere else for ribs. Can't beat them. And we'll be there a little later today to get some.
I went to this place on the 30th of July with my family. We are from Houston tx. We ordered our food the place was not busy when we went.the staff was quite rude. People came in the restaurant 20 minutes after us were getting served we waited an hour before our food came out.needless to say we were not happy we walked out and went to central bbg in Memphis and ate good bbq.
Ribs, pulled pork, slaw and baked beans were all excellent.Wish I lived closer so I could eat there more
Poor service , took over an hour to get a pork sandwich.
