Delicious steak but thought it was pretty tacky to charge $2 to cut the wedge salad in 1/2. Also I asked for the veggies to be plated on 2 plates like the salad was bc my hubby and I split the porterhouse and I didn't want to have to shovel mashed potatoes from 1 plate to another in a nice restaurant but they didn't so I had to.

I have been looking foreward to eating here for a long time. Overall, I think the restaurant is good, but I wasn’t bowled over as I had expected to be. Service was excellent, with several different people on hand for various services. I chose the ribeye, as normally this is the most flavorful of cuts. It was done medium rare, as ordered, and the flavor was good. I thought there was a bit too much fat cap left on the cut. Asparagus was a little too firm. My biggest complaint was the noise level. My husband and I have been here many times and never disappointed. My husband always gets the New York strip and it is always cooked perfectly. They have a great menu so I always try a variety of things and it’s always been delicious. We will be back again soon.

What a great place to eat! Hidden gem in Apopka! First time there with family and it was top notch! Food and service spot on. “Split” the Tomahawk steak! Wow!!

This was not my first meal at The Back Room Steakhouse and I look forward to any future meal. The staff know the menu and guided me and my guests through the menu options and made helpful suggestions. The meals were perfect, as expected. The owner Ed Conlon regularly visits patron to confirm all is perfect. Thank you Ed for having an excellent Steakhouse so close to home.
