Welcome to The Back Door! We are a full service quilt shop with thousands of bolts of fabric, including Moda, Benartex, RJR, Marcus, Red Rooster, and more. We carry hundreds of books and patterns in our retail shop ( click here to print map ), and we are known for our wonderful quilt and doll samples. We have Gammill quilting machines and offer custom quilting services, as well as long arm classes and sales. We've been in business for 37 years, and have been growing to serve your needs.

It is a VERY happy place and wonderful people "working" there that take GREAT care of you.
Huge variety of fabrics, notions, patterns, samples, you name it they have it. Plus a terrific helpful staff!
I live in central Illinois and make it a point to shop at Back Door Quilts at least twice a year. Love the vast selection of fabric and patterns. My favorites are the reproduction fabrics.
