Family owned and knowledgable! I have to admit the first couple of times I visited the Avarium I wasn't to impressed with the staffs overall customer service. After about the third visit and talking with a few of the employees I was very impressed by her avian knowledge. Now I shop there regularly and wouldn't go anywhere else for my birds needs. They even go as far as special ordering items if they don't regularly stock it.
DONT BOTHER GOING Absolutely RUDE! DO NOT GO THERE! THEY DO NOT MAKE THEIR POLICIES CLEAR UNTIL AFTER YOU HAVE PERCHISED THE ITEMS. SUCH AS BIRDS and salt water fish THERE IS NO RETURN POLICY//GUARANTE AND THERE IS A 15% RESTOCKING FEE THEY FORGET TO TELL YOU. THEY ARE HORRIBLE TO WORK WITH AND ALWAYS TREAT CUSTOMERS AS IF THEY ARE DUMB AS rocks. The owners talk badly about customers once they leave and it is all about money. Avarium, stay away! This store had an average variety of fish and corals but was extremely filthy. That should have been my clue not to buy from them but I when I found what I was looking for I bought it. My entire tank got infected and it cost me over $700.00 of my beautiful establish corals.
... Stopped by to see what brands they carried. I did not like the people I dealt with. They were very impolite, no one asked me if I needed help. I will not be going back and keep my business online.
Be careful who you get help from! I received help from a tall guy with glasses. He was not too helpful and came off rude. But since this was my first time coming to this store i didnt have the chance to work with someone else. I suppose every business has atleast one bad employee. I hope in the future I can find a employee there I really like because this store has a good selection of freshwater plants and fish.
not what i would expect from a fish store Went to this store this Saturday to see about setting up a saltwater tank for my son and daughter. I started talking to a really nice young man with bright red hair who was very helpful but then this tall guy with shaggy hair wearing big glasses jumped in and started telling me that it is way too expensive and not to do it. very helpful staff I visited this store recently and it was extremely nice for a fish store. The people there were very nice including one young man named Nick. He helped me with some questions I had about my fish tank, fish, and my water. The Aviarium is a very nice store with some very nice employees, products, and fish.
My experience at the aviarium My experience at the aviarium was great. I was looking for different fish to add to my fresh water tank that i havent already seen. When I got there I realized that their selection of fresh water fish was better than any other store i have ever been too. I purchased a rare fish and i spent around 20 dollars. This business is always willing to help just ask!
a really great store I absolutely love this store for my parrot. I have an amazon that I purchased from the aviarium about three years ago. These people honestly care about their animals and arent only interested in making a quick buck. They are very knowledgable and know what they are doing. Also they clip the wings for LIFE if you buy your bird from them which alone saves a lot of money. Also their selection of bird supplies is ashtonishing.
