I had ACL reconstruction surgery here and want to start by saying the food and general nursing care during my stay were genuinely good — the ward staff were attentive, friendly, and made a stressful surgery day easier. Unfortunately, one incident significantly affected my experience. I visited my mum while she had mayor surgery done here. I thought i was coming to a hospital but it became clear it was more a construction zone. I had to basically scream to communicate to my mum—who was in so much pain already. The executives don’t care and was clear about that, but of course, they are not the ones trying to sleep after a surgery where you can’t move by yourself. The food is a disgrace. I recently had a hip resurfacing undertaken at the hospital at end of April which meant 3 days in hospital. Food excellent, nursing staff excellent, on-site physio team very friedly, rooms very clean and tidy. It was a very well oiled machine. Very pofessional. Came home of day 3, wished i was back there on day 4. Also had a friend in 4 days later and they had a similar experience. Would recommend.
