The property manager is threatening and very aggressive in his approach to rent collection and notifying residents of any wrong doings. He's a gangster in his approach. Not a safe place to live at all..
Apartments are infested with mice, the maintenance crew come when they want to, the trash stays full all the time, and the folks in the leasing office could care less as long as their getting paid. I’ve complained multiple times about the mice. They are everywhere, and all they did was send a bootleg exterminator to come spray. This the most sorry apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. And whoever plans to move here, if you’re ok with living with mice and roaches then be my guess.
The letter Mr. Shelton, who is the property manager, was so rude. There are furloughed employees who cannot pay rent, and you act like they are purposely holding money from you. IF THEY COULD PAY TO KEEP THEIR HOMES, they would. What a cold and heartless person he is, as well as the Avanti owners. Why kick someone out of their home over non payment during a GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWN?! I am disgusted by the letter circulating to furloughed residents of this apartment complex, threatening them with eviction and demanding they drain their bank accounts. I’m going to find the owner of Avanti and write a letter. Now is NOT the time for this!

The insensitive letter that was given to residents about overdue balances during the government shutdown was appalling. First off, you should re-read your letter, Mr. Shelton, as you need assistance in writing professional, grammatically correct letters. Secondly, the tone of the letter sounded threatening and you have no compassion for the individuals who are succumbed to this unfortunate shutdown. Shame on you!!
Very disappointed in the shameful letter sent to residents as evidenced on the news. The writer of that letter should be dismissed from employment - maybe that would help them have greater empathy for people who are struggling through the Furlough.
