I went into The Auto Analyst to smog my husbands 02 Suburban and they misidentified the stock catalytic converter as "Tampered" and therefore it failed the smog test. I was told by them that it needed work done before anybody would pass it. The Vin is now permanently marked as "tampered", and NO additional work actually had to be done in order to pass a smog test at different reputable shop.
