We really liked our nephrologist but it is impossible to communicate with the doctor if you're not in the office. Cryptic test results are just rattled off over the phone by an assistant. You can't get written confirmation of the doctor's instructions or whether the doctor has consulted with other care providers (primary care, cardiologist, and urologist) before the ADC office starts changing other doctors' medication orders. Dr. Haider was my doctor during my stay at St. David's for kidney failure, and he did an incredible job. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable, and his expertise is why my kidneys were able to fully recover as they did. I'm so thankful I had him as my doctor!
