We had David play at our wedding and he was amazing! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed his music and it set the tone for our Scottish themed wedding! We sent him a list of songs we wanted him to play and he said he was familiar with all of them, but some of them he hadn't played in a while. He said that he would practice them so he knew them by the time of our wedding and he did! We were honored to have The Athens Piper play for my father's funeral recently. From the time we contacted David through the ceremony itself, we were so pleased with how he took such good care of our family. He learned a new song that my Dad loved, and created a dignified and lovely ceremony that my family and I will remember and treasure. David just preformed at my mother’s funeral. He did a wonderful job. Afterward, he help with the children of my family. He was a great blessing to my family. You can not ask for a better person and performer.

David is our son's bagpipe teacher and he is patient, kind, and an incredible teacher. Learning to play the bagpipes is no easy task, so having someone who loves this instrument and is able to communicate the fundamentals in way for a 12 year old boy to understand is important. Our son has thrived under David's tutelage, and we appreciate the effort David puts into the lessons and the musical choices to meet our son where he is with his skills while encouraging him.
