A resident of this building tried to confront me when I was talking on my phone. I have mobility issues and he got in my face which almost caused me to fall.
I am loving this place! It's just a 5 minute walk to Forest Park, which is the most exceptional slice of nature right here in the city! The apartment and building are new, modern and well taken care of. The views from the apartment are also so nice: the Montgomery Park industrial building is right out back with lush, beautiful trees everywhere--you can even see Mount Hood on a clear day. And Gregg is a most excellent landlord--helpful, kind, and on the level! It's been a real pleasure and blessing to find this place.
My husband and I have lived in The Aspen for two years. Gregg has been a wonderful landlord from the beginning. We arranged our move into The Aspen during a stressful move while living overseas and Gregg made the process very easy for us. We love the building and the access to restaurants, bars and public transit that the location provides. We are moving when our lease ends in a few months because we would like a bigger place, but this has been a great experience.
I absolutely loved living here! Having lived in many, many apartments in the NW neighborhood over the last ten years, this was by far the best. This was the best apartment living experience I have ever had in my 20 years of renting. The reason we moved out was because we bought a condo. From day one Gregg was amazing. He is super helpful in the entire process and was there always if we needed him. We lived in apartment 402 on the top floor and we had most beautiful views of the Portland skyline, city and the west hills with beautiful homes.
