Everyone is always fantastic. I've spent a great deal of time here, having four dogs, two of them are special needs and OSU has never been anything short of wonderful. A special shout out to all the people working the desk and of course, Dr. Fink!!
OSU James Cancer Hospital is a great place and I love the people for helping me
This place literally saved my life 3 years ago. After a 'botched' gall bladder surgery at my local hospital in Chillicothe, Ohio [Adena Medical Center - Dr. Herbert Sinning :-( ], I was taken in through the ER at OSU East for emergency surgery. I spent 3 days in ICU and a total of 12 weeks in the hospital with 8 total surgeries. Thank you to Dr. Schlanger, Dr. Sigmond, Dr. Manilchuk and the entire OSU East support personnel. AWESOME facility and people. Plus an "Exceptional" Nurse named Melissa Fox (I think that's her name).
We had a horrible experience here. We called ahead to let them know the situation with our pup who had gotten a hold of some medicine. We were never informed of an upfront cost. When we got there, our pup was crying and they flat refused to even touch our pup without us paying upfront. We ended up taking him elsewhere. This was incredibly frustrating and horrible customer service, especially for someone that was experiencing a medical emergency with a beloved pet.
I had my left hip replaced here June 12th, by Dr. Li. Just wanted to give a big thank you to all those that helped. Everyone I ran into was kind, and courteous from nurses to doctors. Being only 45 I was nervous about doing this, but after 2 months I'm back at work with full mobility, and pain free. Thank you to all involved.
The staff has always been a grade above excellent! Friendly, professional and oh so helpful. Every nurse that my Mom has had so far has been absolutely incredible.
