Honestly a billion stars would not be enough to express the appreciation I have for all of the staff, and most importantly Dr. Patnode. My daughter had a tumor removed on her hip that turned out to be a rare kind of cancer. We chose to be transferred to The James Cancer Center due to its rare diagnosis for her second surgery. Dr. Mayerson and the entire staff were absolutely amazing! EVERY person we came into contact with from registration to the nurses after surgery were wonderful. They took great care of my daughter and made us all feel very comfortable in an extremely uncomfortable situation.
My Husband of over 40 years started chemo 9/11/17. He has always been my rock,strong healthy,in charge. Couple of months ago he had side pain we went to local ER,expecting kidney stone. He was DX with stage four prostate cancer which had already metastasized to his bones. After one vist to local Cancer Center down South,where we found bedbugs in the Bistro eating area.
