Overlook at Lakemont I have just moved into this apartment complex 2 weeks ago and have not been at all impressed. In the two weeks that I have been here the roof leaked and the kitchen sink wouldn't drain and the dishwasher has broken. The staff here at Overlook at Lakemont isn't at all concerned about fixing the problems. The maintenance staff stopped by when the roof leaked but didn't fix it for over 24 hours-I had to move my computer for several days and put a bucket in its place. Stay Away! Deteriorated! When I first moved here, it was heaven. Peaceful, serene, family safe. However, the past few months have been absolutely horrible. Cars coming thru at all hours of the night with big booming stereos at unsafe speeds. People partying constantly, loud music vibrating from adjacent apartments. There are empty alcoholic beverage containers everywhere each morning. The childrens play area are riddled with broken glass. The other day, there was a full, 16oz can of beer unopened right next to the kids park!... read more
Run and Run fast I've lived here almost a year and regreat it everyday. Maintenance sucks my dryer takes 3 hours to dry a load. They have been here 3 times everytime it is'nt fixed. The assistnt manager Susan is a total B***H. They had security when i first moved in then took it away with notifying anyone. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!
No point's at all Well....I give this place nooooo points at all....Make sure you know a good exterminator or arm yourselves with lots of bug spray...and if you want something fixed...maintennance may show up in a month...however...they probably wont fix the problem...they will just cover it up...like the mold in the walls...and the water stains on the ceilings.
Only reason to live there is to be zoned for Estes McDoniel The staff seems friendly at the beginning, but to get any work done, you have to complain a lot. The complex is over priced for the neighborhood. On it's face, the remodel looks nice, but the apartments are old, built funky, and a little run down. The gate isn't great, as everyone has the same code to get in and it's open from 7am to 6pm. THE ONLY reason to live there is if you want your elementary student to go to Estes McDoniel, which is a fantastic school with al... read more
Be Careful! My wife and I stayed at the Ardea for a little over 3 years and we enjoyed our stay while we were there. The condo was very nice, maintenance issues were fixed reasonably quick, other residents were pretty friendly and the Concierge service was a nice service that they provided (it was a bit spotty at time but that wasn't a big deal). I'll never live there again! Management here at Arbor Heights is so unprofessional and unhelpful. Their turnover is horrible--new staff at least every 6 months. This means not everyone is on the same page. We learned this after calling about an issue one day, then calling back the next to clarify, etc, talking to someone else, and getting a COMPLETELY different story.
