I wish I could give zero stars. This company cares nothing about those who rent from them, and only about money. I rent at the hillside apartments in York and ever since the apartment gallery bought it, I’ve hated living here. Long story short- they don’t want to spend the money to properly fix maintenance things. They refused to get new ac units to those who’ve need it, they refuse to properly fix the roof/attic that has holes and lets in water and squirrels! We have had squirrels in our furnace closet. For the York county cool creek location specifically.. Terrible place. Terrible management. Nobody to call to hold anyone or their misconduct accountable. The leasing lady Mercedes berated my more than kind Wife on the phone for needing to reschedule a non emergency preventative maintenance service after they had sent out a very short notice during a week where we were dealing with a death in the family. I don't understand the negative reviews. I have been here almost 5 years now. Since they took over here at Cloister Gardens they have made a lot of updates and changes. If you have an issue, the maintenance crew is right on top of things. Today 1/26/26 the back door was a bit frozen and snow and ice covered, within 1 hour of putting a maintenance request in they had the snow shoveled off of the back sidewalk area. The Westgate Apartment Group in Indiana, PA (part of the Apartment Gallery) is amazing! I’ve read some negative reviews, but I don’t have one of those. It’s a top notch apartment, with affordable rent (which is a rarity these days). The office staff members are phenomenal and extremely helpful, as is the maintenance staff with their very quick response times. My neighbors are wonderful, as well. I’m truly loving my new home here and feeling very blessed to be a part of this community.
