A group of friends and I came here for a birthday. 2 of us ordered the prime rib and a steak. The other 2 are pescatarian and ordered the lobster chowder and the broiled salmon. First off, the bread they brought at the beginning was hard and cold. Secondly, we ordered sodas and they were flat/low on syrup and tasted bad. I am so sorry to have to write this review as The Angry Butcher has been a favorite of our family for many years, including the covid period. However, after our ‘meal’ last night we won’t be returning. We arrived at 5:20 for a 5:30 reservation. The hostess was kind and seated us immediately on the patio. I always look forward to dinner at Angry Butcher and last nights was marginal at best. We are here at least once a year for work and dinner here is usually a highlight. Not this trip, service was terrible, food just okay…those of us that ordered steak - they were all cooked wrong. The bread (a favorite) was hard. Just not a good meal that used to be consistently great. Don’t know what changed, but change it back!
Probably the worst steakhouse I've gone to an years. Had to wait to be seated once we are seated we are ignored by the staff, when we finally did place our orders they were wrong on the cooking, we waited almost 20 minutes for the waiter to come back around to tell him that the ribeye was raw and needed to be cooked more. There special of the night was sword fish, It was very dry. I felt bad for my friends as they were only in for the night. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.
