Very old building with constant maintenance issues, it took months to replace my AC, still have the broken tiles in the kitchen they never replaced from 2014, parking is horrible if you have guests. Fitness center is far from well equipped, I had more equipment in my garage as a child. Bathrooms have zero ventilation so after taking a shower the walls stay wet, but there is a heat lamp from the 60's or 70's you can use to dry it out I suppose. MOLD!! BEWARE!!! Both of our children suffer from asthma/allergy-related illnesses. Repeated nebulizer treatments, allergy shot appointments, dose after dose after dose of allergy medicines, etc.. We found a HUGE mold spot in their bedroom...promptly reported the mold and were told that it was “treated” (something was sprayed on it). I was reassured that they were certified to handle mold and that it was the “good mold” not the harmful mold (laughable!). Ever since Diana left nothing gets fixed... But they make sure that our rent goes up.. And I dont understand why they can afford to remodel the rental office but cant afford to maintain our apartments.. If you live here I would try to find somewhere else to live like us or if your looking to live here runnnnnn!!!! you"ll get soooo screwed!
I have lived here for over 5 years and within the year they have recently changed people running the office who by far have been the worst (the only exception is Mary). They wouldnâ??t help you if your life depended on it. My Maintenance problem (air conditioning) has not been fixed over Two Months and I am on the 2nd floor in 90 Degree weather. BAD property manager and management – This Anchorage apartment management is very stingy. They never replace old appliances with new ones. And they built a gym recently. It is so small and crowded and I think they built this gym just because they wanted to increase the price of all apartments. The senior property manager working in the building is not nice at all. OK place but beware of manager – This is not a bad place to live. The location is awesome; 2 blocks from the Light Rail and Metro bus #36 & 60. Red Apple grocery store 1 block away along with Chinese and Mexican corner stores a few blocks away with very low prices. The down side of this place seems to be the management. The main manager, Felicity is by far the rudest, stuck up manager I've ever dealt with. She finds any opportunity to insult you even if you haven't done anything apparent to upset her. Our go to AYCE Sushi Bar – Sushi-Mon is our go to AYCE Sushi place in Vegas. The sushi seems to always be the freshest. They do not kill you with rice. Although it's not on the menu, if you get the Dinner AYCE, you can get 1 order of Toro, Sweet Shrimp, and Uni.
All DRY in CottonHOOD – When we first moved in we chose this place because of the spacious apartments, they seemed very nice and we thoroughly scrutinized everything in the apartment(so we could get as much of the security deposit back as possible) and because of the pool but we did not know that the pool would be closed for 98% of our year stay! DO NOT TRUST THEM – SOUTH SQUARE HAS BEEN THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED/ WORKED. TAKE EVERYTHING WITH A GRAIN OF SALT. THEY HAVE THE TENDENCY TO GO BACK ON PROMISIS
