Quite literally the worst company I've ever dealt with, installed the panels incorrectly without a permit and without HOA approval. I'm being fined by my HOA and they do not return calls. But somehow I'm still required to pay for the panels that do not work as advertised. Do yourself a favor and find a different company .
ETA: 6 months later and the solar panels STILL ARENT WORKING!!!! Absolute scam company. We’ve had our panels for a year and they’ve NEVER worked - as in pulling ZERO energy. They don’t return phone calls, text messages or emails. There phone even now goes straight to voicemail and the mailbox is full. Our average electricity before this horror show was $110. We now have an electric bill of $300 and a loan installment of $110. We’re paying $400 a month to have a shiny roof. We’ll be suing at this stage.
COMPLETE SCAM. WE'VE HAD PANELS ON OUR ROOF FOR MONTHS AND THEY ARE STILL NOT HOOKED UP, THEY PUT THEM UP WITHOUT A PERMIT. THEY SAID THEY WOULD PAY OUR FIRST 6 PAYMENTS AND ALL PAYMENTS UNTIL OUR SOLAR WAS OPERATING. NOPE. NOW THEY ARE FULLY PAID BY THE FINANCE COMPANY MOSAIC (ALSO A SCAM WHO HAS CLOSED BOTH OF OUR COMPLAINT CASES BECAUSE AMERICAN POWER LIED THE FIRST TIME AND DIDNT RESPOND THE SECOND TIME). The worst investment my husband and I ever made was installing American Power Company TRASH solar panels on my home! They have not worked since they were installed. They said they would cover the first year's payment, which never happened! Now, my husband and I are stuck with two power bills. I've retained a lawyer to get some assistance tracking down these scammers, but NOTHING! They literally vanished! Zero stars for these scammers! Just out here stealing from people!
