April is my hero of the month! Came in pretty much last minute in a desperate attempt to fix a badly done pixie cut. She's a true hair artist! So genuine, fun, happy, and so easy to talk to! She knows how to work hair, and I don't know how, but she was able to transform the cut into the sexy pixie I was hoping for. Aprile is the sweetest hair dresser and most talented person ever! So professional and was accommodating to my hijab needs. She was very welcoming and did an amazing job on my hair. Would recommend her to anyone and everyone! This is the best hair cut I have ever got :)
Today was my first day getting my hair cut at The Alcove (long hair cut). All the good reviews are correct! I really like my hair - April listened to what I wanted exactly and it came out just as I'd hoped - at a totally reasonable price. She even helped fix up the front where I had done some at home haircutting. Besides that, she was very warm and welcoming. I recommend this place!
April is a solid stylist and definitely is going to be my regular from here on out! She asked me more questions than any other stylist has about my hair care, lifestyle, and fashion needs, and worked with me to determine a perfect cut. She is so very friendly and personable – I wanted to stay longer! Her space is lovely and comfortable. Best of all, my cut looks great! I highly recommend April.
April is a gem! We’ve explored a number of hair styles and she executes them wonderfully! I live in NYC and I book an appointment with her every time I land in austin, Tx to visit family. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment with her:)
