Nice place to have a drink and watch the tourists go by. Friendly people there.
Brilliant atmosphere and great service from Amara.
The Alaskan Bar isn’t want it used to be. Charging for events that used to be free in the past. The majority of the Bartenders are terrible. The decline in patrons means the bar closes whenever it feels like it. I can’t count the times I would come downtown 10-11 and the bar would be completely shut down. I miss The Alaskan.
RecommendedThursday night open mic nights. you can get a drink anywhere, but open mic would be the main attraction. They should have it on Friday, or Saturdays as well.

Worst hotel Ever! No heaters, no parking, lousy maintenence, lace curtains with no shades, 1 bathroom and 1shower shared between many rooms. Not worth the money, stay anywhere else what a disappointment.
