This club is amazing. It is VERY clean, tons of equipment, great customer service. Julie in membership was extremely helpful and I apareciste the opportunity to work out in this fantastic gym.
My kids have thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the Alaska Club camp this summer. They come home every day excited to tell me about the crafts, activities, workouts, and adventures they have had. They really enjoy being able to swim every day and when there is a fitness class or library trip. I feel like the summer camp was worth every penny and my kids are already looking forward to doing it again next summer!
I have been a member since May 2003. My main focus has been water aerobics. Several years ago the AK club in Eagle River (my home club) added the Floating Fitness training and it has been a game changer. The instructor on Mon. And Weds. is an amazing woman who not only motivates and encourages to push that extra effort. We have enjoyed our membership and will continue utilizing this great indoor option for training.
don’t get a gym membership here, you are 100x better off going to a smaller local gym or even planet fitness. husband and i thought we signed up for a 12 month contract only to find out we were signed up for an 18. if you want out of your contract, be prepared to pay a $400 fee (because they make you pay the enrollment fee you waived when you started). it is expensive, and it is definitely not worth it.
