A great cheap alternative for hikers. Private rooms but public bathrooms. The rooms were comfortable and there were bathrooms with multiple showers on both floors of rooms. Late check-in and early check-out was easy and staff was digitally very responsive.

I recently stayed for 6 nights in a double room. It had a mini fridge and kettle which was handy. Hallway had water, and shared bathrooms were fine. Staff were very friendly and shared common area was welcoming. Super convenient location in centre of cbd

I did not stay here, but I went to the cafe-bar three times during my stay in Hobart. The couches are super comfy, the rec room is spacious, and the staff is charming.

We booked this through a booking agent and there was no mention of shared bathroom facilities. Upon learning that we had to use communal bathrooms, there was some panic. We gave it a go anyway and were thoroughly surprised - the facilities are super clean, the bedrooms cosy and quiet. If you are looking for a budget stay in Hobart, definitely give this place a go. They even have a bar that’s open til 8pm.
