I was rushed through the application and lease signing process to end up in a filthy apartment with no shower curtain rod or shower head, a huge, dripping leak in my closet ceiling, a bug problem, a non-working dishwasher, non-working HVAC, and several broken counters and shelves. Soooo I've lived here for a year now and feel I can finally leave a review. First I'll name the positives: location is great as I'm right in the middle of the city, second the apartment is a great size for the monthly rent and it's secure (secured access/package room/working security cameras). This has to be the worst apartment ever. The building is extremely old and management is almost nonexistent. I have lived here for 3 years and every year there is an issue with the HVAC system. I currently have had no heat in my apartment for over 2 months and no solution has been provided after numerous maintenance requests. I am not the only one in the building experiencing all these issues.
I have lived here for 2.5 years. The first few months were ok. However, the last year has been problem after problem. The first winter, heating was completely out for several weeks. Only option was a small space heater that the apartment provided. Then, a water pipe burst, which shut down water to the apartment for 2 weeks and displaced all the residents. Then ANOTHER water pipe burst a few months ago, which caused flooding through 5 floors of the building. There is visible damage to my floors, ceiling and walls from the wat... read more
