Rough start from beginning. On move in day we walked into a very filthy apartment with destroyed furniture, missing furniture pieces, cat urine throughout, vomit on the furniture and someone else's clothes still in the dryer. Clearly nothing was done to the apartment prior to move in. Management was "too busy" to address the issue since it was move in day and they would have to call Corporate. Was initially a good complex - new, well kept but has gone down hill since. Lots of partying and noise issues from other tenants, the air conditioning in the large study area never worked and overall a bit expensive with lack of care and attentiveness from the staff.
Will change the lease year to year without notifying changes, like no longer strictly student housing. Drugs are on the property and there was a shooting not long ago. Oh you don't like that? Well be ready to cough up some serious dough because its gonna cost ya to cancel your lease. It seems like a flashy place but save yourself the trouble, money and stress if your kids are in college in springfield.
Apartment will not help with internet issues. The resident has to contact Whitesky (AWFUL provider with constant connection issues and internet drops). Hallways always smell.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. Management is not helpful and clueless about everything. Moving in was a mess and our apartment was disgusting, covered in fluids/ stains/ burn marks/ cat scratches, etc. Moving out was even worse. The A/C in our unit was broken for OVER a month and it took them OVER two weeks to provide us with a new room with working A/C.
