At a resort hotel in the Columbia River Gorge recently (which shall remain nameless here to avoid a defamation suit), I ordered their rib-eye, only weeks removed from obliterating the same at the 19th hole on my father-in-law's suggestion. There was no contest - it was embarrassing and rather incompetent, really. I expected more from a grand old resort, but it wasn't even close to the steak I inhaled at the 19th. I'm heading back on my next California trip, period.
I love to stop here any chance I get! Great food, awesome Bloody Mary's, great atmosphere and service is top notch!! If you're ever in the area, this place is a MUST!!
Great little spot. Stopped on our way to King City one day and again on the way home. Best Bloody Mary's!
