Come here once a year and it's always amazing, the owner just came out and made our night so much better with his jokes!
Words can't express how much I enjoyed That's Amore! I surprised my husband to the restaurant, without knowing what to expect..... But let me tell you. They helped make that night as magical as I wanted!!! Definitely recommend this restaurant! FOOD IS FANTASTIC TATIC. #mynewfavoriterestaurant
Went there for dinner last night. The bathrooms are disgusting and dirty. The doors and floors are gross. I had lobster bisque and it tasted like they opened up a can and just heated it up. Our table by the door was not secured to the floor and it kept moving on us. good location, but you need to clean up the place. That stage with the red carpet is so outdated and your last booth in the back is so small, no one can sit there. We had to move. Please declutter the place, brighten it up and add some new items to your menu.
We visited for the first time last time, and had a great experience! The food was fantastic (veal parmagiana and chicken marsala). Great atmosphere, right on the water with a view of downtown Tampa. Excellent service, and the owner, Joe, came by the table and talked to us for about 5 or 10 minutes.
The food was great but the service was AWFUL. After 45 minutes, we still did not have the soup or salad we ordered. We told our waiter don't bother bringing it. 30 minutes later, our food finally came out. The manager then told us that the long wait for our food was because 'we didn't have a reservation' - WHAT??!! I'm sorry, but don't seat customers without reservations unless you can give them the same level of service! Had a truly phenomenal evening with 6 others at That's Amore last night. Jamie and Mike provided exceptional service, Gil Machin's live soft jazz and classic soft rock guitar had me swaying in my chair all night, and everyone's food was absolutely delicious.
