I was a little nervous after seeing some of the reviews but found Dr. Tharp to be very nice, very matter of fact, knowledgeable and patient. He explained my options to myself and my husband, did not pressure me to make decisions. Thanks Dr. Tharp! Wendy
First off doctor should not talk about the amount of money they get. Dr. Tharp literally wrote out the amount of money a neck surgery would cost and how important it would be to get it done before the year is up. Also speaks about medicaide and how he doesn't have to accept the insurance because not many Dr. Do. Dicrimination is Dr. Tharp #1 next to money not helping his patients is his low. shame on him.
I agree with Angela!! I have never met such a cocky doctor in my life! He couldn't even pronounce chiari malformation, which for a spinal surgeon you would think he could pronounce... At least! First thing he says is " why are you here" . In cocky manner. I told him my doctor referred me due to tumors in my spine causing fractures. He Says well I would think you would go to Cleveland clinic since you have had your brain surgeries there. I was there for my spine! Dr Tharp did my spine surgery about 9 years ago yes he is cocky and has no bedside manner but the man did a FANTASTIC JOB! I had canal stenosis, bone spurs and herniated discs he fixed all of it i was up and ready for work in three days. I am still pain free.
Dr Tharp did a great job on the fusions of my L-4 &L-5 vertebrae.Almost 5 years since surgery and still pain free and I do alot of continues repetitive motion.Thanks so much Dr.Tharp. Sincerely Scott Shilling
