Think twice about moving in here. The rent is lower than some of the surrounding complexes, but you get what you pay for and it is still insanely high. The apartments are old and in poor condition. We supposedly had "new" carpet put in prior to moving in, but the carpet was old, with bleach stains and wear marks on it. The apartment was dirty and it is obvious that they have done little to keep it nice over the years (dirty doors painted over, grimy corners, old linoleum floors under cheap laminate in the kitchen, etc). The ... read more

Terribly Disappointed – Much of what we discovered to be drawbacks about living at Thames Point Apartments were know issues. We feel that, although we inquired about these specific points before signing a lease, we were assured that they were no longer a problem. We feel we were mislead. We've had issues with excessive partying and noise (including vomiting over the railing outside our apartment) as late as 3:00 am, ventilation problems which pumped stale cigarette smoke into our apartment from an adjacent unit (we are not s... read more

terrible management, overpriced, but unique apartments – The management at the building and particularly the overall manager, Maryland Management, are very difficult to deal with. A residential services advisor for the company actually said to me, "we have a policy that the managers are not allowed to speak to tenants in our buildings." This makes getting problems resolved very difficult. The building maintenance people are wonderful, but if you want something taken care of, you might as well try to track them down yourself.... read more

Bird Waste Everywhere. Most unpleasant place on Earth. Management Non-Existant. – I've seen low income housing in better condition. The current management refuses to clean the place up. All carpets are extremely worn out and tattered. Pigeons out-number the residents 100-1 and there is more pigeon and bird waste ground into the carpets than it is humanly possible to imagine. Imagine being forced to walk through bird waste very time you enter and leave your apartment! This place is "hhhheeelllll on Earth" Avoid! The place is ... read more

Nice Location, Dated Building, Too Expensive – LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. The location is quite simply one of the nicest in the entire city - there's no denying that. But man, the building itself is BEAT. The heat in the lobby has been broken SINCE I MOVED IN, the rugs are disguesting, and the kitchens are bare basics...cheap cheap cheap. Hallways remind me of old, cheap Ocean City motels. Staff is okay...it's not their fault. Whoever owns that place knows how good the location is and hasn't overhauled the place, it looks l... read more

Avoid Thames Point – I'd avoid Thames Point place if you expect to be treated respectfully by the Thames Point management entity, Maryland Management Company. At premium lease prices ($1250 - $2500 a month), you'd expect a relative level of service and professionalism. I had a dreadful experience at Thames Point and the Maryland Management Company was totally unsympathetic. The units are clean but certainly not luxurious. The kitchens and bathrooms are old and basic- linoleum floors, ancient electric stoves, cheap appliances... read more
