Weekly Ritual – My family and I have been going to Thai Spice since it opened. The amazing food and the friendly service have kept us coming back (weekly)!!! Their chicken and peanut sauce beats all the other Thai restaurants I've been to, and the ginger beef, garlic shrimp, pineapple-fried rice and nom sod are all uniquely flavored and well worth trying. You really can't go wrong here because everything is great. Try the lunch buffet for lots of variety or dinner special (from 5-7pm every day) for an extremely good deal.
Fantastic Spot – Great food, good service, reasonable prices. Haven't had anything bad on the menu. Sauces are wonderful, peanut is the best it just needs a little more heat. Soups are a must have. Tom Yum!!!
GREAT – Absolutely wonderful!! Fantastic Thai food, Good Vietnamese. Can't go wrong with the Sunday brunch buffet; try everything. Quaint balcony in good weather. What a bargain. Heavy on the apps, and split the entrees. You won't be disappointed..you just keep going back.
Best Thai #1!!! – I live right on Bellaire and this is one of the Best Thai restaurant I every been tooo... Try the mussels witih the sauce or the fry fish or the Thai Sour Spicey Soup....
Great Lunch Buffet – Thai Spice has a great lunch buffet with various selections of chicken, fried rice and pad thai amongst other dishes. It's priced reasonably and has a pleasant atmosphere: simple, not too noisy. On a really nice day, you can sit outside on the balcony and view the cars going by while eating. Don't forget the sunglasses!
Tasty! – They have delicious pineapple fried rice and their spicy foods are perfect! I love the atmosphere and service. The thai iced tea is yummy and ask for the dish that comes out in a swan, it's goooood!!
best value and best thai food – In my opinion, Thai Spice is one of the best values in Houston. The all-you-can-eat lunch buffet offers a wide selection of appetizers, entrees, fruits, salads and deserts. The buffet is also constantly restocked so the food is fresh. The early-bird special (5-7 pm) offers an appetizer, soup, entree and dessert combo for $7.50. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. I recommend the chicken and peanut sauce, pad thai, nam sod, summer rolls, winter cheese rolls and chicken sate.
