We were really looking forward to eating Thai food and with the 4+ rating, we were very excited. The exterior was full of weeds and so overgrown that you couldn't even see the building. Looks aren't everything though, right? Still considering the rating, aside from the exterior look. Sauce was very, very watery and the beef had an old, freezer taste. This use to be my favorite Thai restaurant years ago. The mold smell when you walk in the door was overwhelming! Even with the door open! I ordered soup and salad. A small bowl of the wrong soup came before the salad. No knife on the table to cut large portions of salad, cucumbers and tomatoes... Second bowl of correct soup ordered arrived to the table cold. Best Tom Kah soup I have ever had!!! Floating lemongrass, galangal root, and bay leaf with creamy coconut broth that has a lime and fresh cilantro top note!
