It was very large inside but not very crowded. The appetizers were very delicious and beautifully prepared. Our meal portions were huge and very filling, I have no complaints about that. The beef salad there is probably the best Ive ever had and Ive been to many thai restaurants across the country. The waitress catered to my 4 yr old which was nice cause he asks for alot of things. When he asked for a cookie, she brought him a cookie, it was a real treat for us. My only complaint is they do not serve fried bananas for desert... read more

Extremely disappointed. – Went there last night (Thursday evening) with a few friends and we were seated immediately. It took about 15 minutes before a server came over to bring us water, and probably another 10 minutes followed before someone came to take our order for appetizers. Appetizers came and were pretty good (I ordered Tom Yum, friend ordered Satay). For dinner, I ordered Pud Kra-Team Puk Thai. When it came, the chicken was as tough as beef jerky and did not look anything like the picture on the restaurant's websit... read more

This restaurant was worst thai restaurant I have ever been to in Austin. I mean the other restuarants were ok but this one has got to go! The food was not at all authentic, the service was horrible, prices arent reasonable at all! DO NOT GO THERE I WARN YOU, YOU WILL NOT LIKE IT IF U WANT AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD!

Apathy at Thai Passion – My friends and I went to Thai Passion for dinner a couple of nights ago. We were told the wait was about 10-15 minutes so we sat down to wait. There were two couples ahead of us that got seated within the first 5 minutes of our wait. Being a "large" party (of 3), we waited patiently to be seated. After about 20-25 minutes of waiting, a new party of 2 entered and were seated promptly much to their surprise and our chagrin. They even pointed to the staff that we were waiting and should be seated before... read more

ups and downs – i've always been fortunate to get some pretty great service. however, the food is not very consistent. don't get the pad thai- its nowhere near as good as madam maam's. but the fish in basil sauce is fantastic, and so are the more adventurous dishes. be carfeful when you come here, i would say right around 9:00 is a good time.

Delicate stir-fries and bold curry dishes are gracefully presented in this downtown restaurant filled with cheery art and sunlight. – In Short This sunny eatery occupies part of the 1859 Sampson-Henricks building, which is adorned with Thai sculptures and the owner's handmade artwork. The crowd is mainly a mix of students and professionals who work downtown. Menu items include a ginger-infused shrimp stir-fry sauteed with onion, mushroom, celery and basil, spicy pa-nang red curry and pra-ram chicken topped with a smooth pean... read more

Nice quiet place. Great late hours and a great menu (rice balls are amazing). This is our favorite Thai food in Austin. Perfect stop after a night on the town.
