Don't waste your time, this was horrible. You can get far better Thai food anywhere else in Dallas, try River Spice Thai Restaurant?? on 18111 Dallas Parkway, just north of this dump on Frankfurt and the Tollway. Far better food and they do not trry and gouge you on prices. If you do decide to eat here, don't plan on any extended car trips!
Bad T is wrong! Contrary to what Bad T said. Thai Orchid has been serving authentic Thai food for long time in Addison area. Bad T doesn't have any clue about Thai food.

WOW!!! Ok, I love the hole-in-the-wall restaurants but this surpassed my expectations. I wandered in for lunch and it was a delighted and surprised by the fantastic service and lunch specials. The menu offers something for everyone. The summer rolls were excellent and the have take out as well. My office frequents this restaurant and we have recommended to everyone within our building. Yuck I will not be going back. I went there on a summer afternoon. The waitstaff was horrible. The air conditioning was broken (which in TX is brutal). When I asked for ice water - they brought warm water. The food was not good. It was very dry pasta and they did not make a good Thai brown sauce. I will not return.
Thai Orchid Restaurant is great This is a quaint restaurant that surprises you. Their Thai food is very good and service has been excellent every time we've been there. Our favorite, Pad Thai is outstanding - just ask for them to watch the heat if you're not into spicy, and they will.
