A Special Treat – This is my favorite thai restaurant. The food is wonderful. I even asked them if they catered weddings. Unfortunately they don't. Most people seem to do take out but regardless of eating in or taking out, the services is outstanding and everyone is very,very friendly. It is a special treat for us every Friday night. Oh yeah, it is also very reasonably priced.
Bang for Buck! – Ok, so service and atmosphere not like being in Thailand. But the food is fantastic! Highly recommend pad thai noodles and tom ka soup. Don't go during lunch maybe, but boy what a treat to the palate!!!
Good food, horrible service – Food is good, but you will be waiting a while for it. We have been on several occasions and have enjoyed the food. Several times however the experience has been ruined by the service. More than once one persons entree has been delivered to the table 5-10 minutes before the other persons. Strange, but could be fun if you like to watch eachother eat. Last time we waited 45 min (during lunch) for the FIRST plate to arrive. The second one had to be directly put in a togo box. Great value; delicious food! – Very authentic Thai tastes. A small, intimate environment with very personal service. I think that the Pad Thai and the Khao Soi (a Chiang Mai, northern-Thai noodle dish that is served at very few Portland Thai restaurants) are particularly delicious.
