On a 17 hour drive from Jax to the QCA, I stopped for the night in Paducah KY. I did a quick Google search for restaurants and decided on take-out from Thai Kitchen. I am now considering a permanent relocation to Paducah, just so I can be a regular Thai Kitchen customer. The veggie spring rolls and veggies & tofu in W1 spicy basil sauce were perfectly prepared, delicious, and still piping hot when I got back to my hotel room. Authentic Thai! I’m so glad we stopped in!!
I’ve had two carry out orders so far. They were hot, fresh, and delicious. Going back for my third take out order. I’ll be getting the chicken pad Thai for the third time. The difference in flavor between mild and spicy is significant but the dish doesn’t taste right without the heat. If you’re sensitive to spice proceed with caution.
Loved it. Highly recommend. I am here for work and did not disappoint.
EDIT: changed from 5 stars to 3 stars. We aren't local and we arrived from a long road trip and planned our stop to visit Thai Kitchen. We were turned away 30 minutes before closing by a very different person than the owners who helped us when we previously visited. We were told the kitchen was closed and to-go orders were not an option. I assume the food is still great, but the service has changed dramatically.
