Editorial Review – Upscale Thai restaurant in Redmond Town Center offers noodles and swimming rama along with unusual dishes like salmon curry.
Best Thai food ANYWHERE – I've eaten in Thai restaurants all over the country, and this is the best. I've been there 10 times, and the food is great every time, and every dish. It's crowded, but managed so well that I've never waited too long for a table. The sauces, the soups, the deserts and drinks are all great.
Try the Phad Kee Mao, it may replace your current favorite. – I eat Thai food on a weekly basis and, although I live in Seattle, I will often drive to the Redmond Square Thai Ginger for one specific dish: Phad Kee Mao. I have tried it elsewhere and cannot seem to find anywhere that seasons the wide-noodles to perfection quite the same way, not overly-saucy but with plenty of bite. Excellent Thai Food in Downtown Redmond! – Thai Ginger has been doing booming business ever since it opened a few years ago in Redmond Town Center. This location is a great option for a quick lunch, either dine-in or carry-out, and has plenty of accessible parking. Service has improved over the years, and the open kitchen adds to the festive atmosphere. Thai Iced Tea is on the sweet side, but is an extremely good start to the meal. Chicken and tofu dishes are excellent, and sauces are right on. Dining area can be on the loud... read more
LOUD – Food was average to above average. Could have had a little more (heat) spice. Service was good - friendly and knowledgeable. Very noisy. Felt rushed.
Excellent Thai Food – Thai Ginger in Redmond serves the freshest food and their staff is always around to help you out with whatever you need. My favorite dishes are the Panang Curry, Tiger Tearless, and the Phad Kee Mao. It's often loud and busy because Thai Ginger is such a popular place to go and eat, but unlike other places, the staff does not neglect you during your visit. They always have more than enough staff on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Busy, but good. – I've enjoyed Thai Ginger both times I've been. The food is delicious - I've tried a lot of different things, because it's served family-style, so everyone can have a bite of everything. I was surprised at how mild the curry was, even when we specified 4 stars. However, the flavors are wonderful. I was amazed there was basil in my curry, not spinach as I thought. It's a sign of excellent food when the flavors meld together and one flavor doesn't steal the spotlight. The Thai iced tea is AWESOME - black tea w... read more
