I and my sweet friend had a wonderful time at Fresh Thai! We had the Lavender Ice Cream, Bundt Cake, Lemon Bars and Hot Tea! It was so so good. We are coming back!

I ordered a chicken curry dish and was very disappointed. The sauce was delicious, but the chicken was very poor quality. There was a lot of gristle, fat, tendons, and even some bone. I complain to my waitress and she brought the manager over. The manager offered me 25% off my meal or a free scoop of ice cream. When I told her that was not acceptable she very condescendingly offered me 50% off my meal and proceeded to inform me that because I had eaten the meal (4 bites of chicken I had to spit out) most restaurants would no... read more

The place has a great South Austin laid back vibe and the food is fabulous. The Beer Battered Shitake Mushrooms and Vegetarian Egg Rolls were a great start to the meal. Chu Chee curry with shrimp had a great flavor and a bit of a kick. The Tom Yum Lemongrass Soup was excellent. Pad Thai with chicken was good, but not outstanding. Homemade pies, cakes, cookies and ice cream are a great way to finish off your meal. Thai Fresh is a coffee shop, too, so you can ship the meal and go straight to coffee and dessert.
