Could be better – The items we took out were:Pad Thai, Beef salad, Shrimp and Crispy brown Chicken, Thai Iced Tea, Pork Ribs Pad Thai: The portion was good, but a little too sweet. Most places give you some shrimp, but this place, NONE Beef Salad: There's not enough lettuce in it! It tastes okay. Shrimp and Crispy Brown Chicken: It tastes good but not enough! Thai Iced Tea: Too sweet!! Pork Ribs: I thought this was THAI BBQ, NOT the regular BBQ! This dish has the barbeque sauce you would find at Reo's Ribs!
Best Thai food in around – The service is great, the prices are reasonable, but the food! OMG do they have good soups, pad thai, and seafood. Highly recommended to anyone within driving distance for a fine treat.
Small place + Big options – Decent thai food for a very reasonable price. It's small, cozy, and has a great ambience. The service has been consistently polite and helpful. I recommend the Pad Prik King w/ tofu. The tofu is fantastic in this dish -- soft and flavorful with a lightly fried exterior. *Great* service! – I first went to Thai BBQ on a whim, and came away very pleased. The food is great in portion (big but not mammoth), flavor (more sophisticated than you'd necessarily expect), and presentation--AND it's affordable. We started ordering mostly pepper steak and pad thai, but I've branched out (with the recommendation of one of my favorite servers!) to pad see ew and pad woon sen as well. ;) If I eat in, I'm sure to order a Thai iced tea. Yum! Yum! Yum! – Who knew? I have driven past this place hundreds of times and never gave it a second thought....on a whim we decided to try it tonight and it is SO GOOD!!! A delightful surprise- we can't wait to go back and try other things. We had the tofu/vegetable yellow curry and tofu/vegetable tom kah soup. Best thai food I have had in Portland!
Top notch Thai Food!! – Thai BBQ has some of the best Thai food in Portland - and that is saying a lot. Save your money at the fancy places and go here. My girlfirend and I continue to go back and are never, ever dissapointed. Try everything!

Best Thai food hands down! – This undiscovered gem on busy Powell street has the best Thai food I have ever eaten! Believe me I have tried many Thai places in Portland The owner is the cook, and she makes scrumptious meals. Try anything with coconut milk in it. I try something new each time I come to eat, and I have NEVER been disappointed. The wait staff is attentive and service is fast. I eat here once a week and eat here every time I eat Thai food now. Parking lot is small, but so far no problems finding a space.
