Love visiting this place! This was one of my Dads places to go when he was a teen to hang around. It has never changed to my knowledge and he would be 75 this year. Our family has been there since the beginning considering his Dad took him. Sucks I am in Indiana but guarantee every visit I get me a bowl with and a few cheesy westerns. Thank you and don't ever change!

It’s clear to see why Texas Tavern has been around for over 85 years. They have great food, cheap prices, and hospitality you can’t find anywhere else. My first time here I ordered a cheesy western, an egg on top of a cheeseburger. It was perfect! They add a sweet yellow relish that makes the burger complete.
