We were there for a late lunch while traveling through the area. I had the sirloin tips -- medium --substituted "seasonal fruit" for potatoes, and asparagus. Other than the fruit being canned pineapple, canned mandarin oranges, and three small token pieces of strawberry, I was very pleased with the meal. I had the Texas Skillet which has steak, shrimp and chicken with veggies in a sizzling skillet, but that's not at all what I got. I had one steak cube that was very dry which I had ordered medium, chicken was ok, shrimp was under cooked I has two very large pieces of potatoes that was hard not cute up at all and mushrooms no other veggies, very watery plates looked like it was just thrown together and it wasn't sizzling at all, it was pretty much cold. 18 bucks you expect good food and it just wasn't. We had an excellent time. Our server was amazing. She anticipated our needs and expectations. The food was excellent and plenty of it. Again our server was excellent , very friendly and knowledgeable. 5 stars for sure.
I am not from the area, but every time I am here, I eat at least once at Texas Steak House. Never had any problems. Waitress are very curtious.
