I am disappointed with the communication from doctors. The nurses are great. In two weeks of our loved one being admitted to the ICU we have not been able to speak to one doctor or case worker. This is very frustrating during the corona virus restrictions. I think an effort could be made to keep families in the loop.
RecommendedI received excellent care and had great nurses and Drs. I would recommend Promise to any one that needs acute care. A very caring Hospital.
My grandmother died because of the POOR half assed care they gave her. One nurse was so abusive they popped her arm out of the socket telling her to “shut up” as he twisted her arm when she was freaking out. They made her decline into health so bad we had to call for help from an ambulance.. IN A HOSPITAL where she was only there for rehab for her throat. Our experience with Promise Hospital wasn’t pleasant at all. My mom was there for two weeks & we maybe had one nice nurse. The caucasian charge nurse Pat was the rudest nurse I ever met. My mother FELL out the bed & she refuse X-RAYS, my sister had to contact the Director of Nursing to get an OK for X-RAYS. Pat also refuse to heat food for my mother after she complete therapy, she suggested to get the CNA to do it. The name “Promise” do not fit the experience we encountered. Terrible experience! No Communication between shifts. Wound care? What a joke! They often don’t do what they say they will do. No follow through at all. Unskilled workers who are uncaring. There are a few that are good. But unfortunately the bad can’t be out weighed. Once my mom can be moved out of there, a more specific review will be posted. A 1 star review. If i could it would be 0 stars.
I would not recommend this facility to anyone. my father went into promise 9-21-18 about 4:30 pm for rehab. he was just fine....talking, laughing, joking with everyone. His rn that checked him in was a new guy that just started. he was very friendly and explained to us wat was happening as he was doin things for my dad. but wen shift change came and he got his new rn and cna for the night it was a completely different story. my mom and I had stepped out because the dialysis t...
