Texas road house is byfar the best steak house in all western nc and the food is great and the staff is very friendly I'll definitely recommend to anybody who loves steak as much as I do,!!!!

I think they're slipping....steaks ordered were tough. We were there to celebrate a birthday and told them 3 times...but...nothing. Disappointed. Server needs to learn that no matter how busy you get the smiles shouldn't disappear. The manager was pleasant enough while taking one dinner off bill.

Inattentive wait staff. At least my steak was cooked right. Doubt I'll be back.
One word pathetic. Waitress got my wifes order wrong. Said no egg on salad, came with egg. Ordered steak and ribs got steak and shrimp. Asked for more rolls got them when we were done eating. Talked with manager and he was as bad as her. She was more worried about singing happy birthday. Totally mismanaged guy had no clue. PATHETIC!
Great food. Not entirely a pleasurable visit, the music was too loud, so it wasn't really a relaxed family dinner.
Had a great experience last night. One hick up was a tough steak but was corrected with no problem or hesitation. The replacement steak was perfect. And the fall off the bone ribs were just that. By far the best ribs in town.
