I live in Lebanon, and usually eat out in town or in Mt juliet, but both the service and food was better at Texas Roadhouse, Hendersonville than I have had in quite awhile. It was packed when we arrived at 8pm Friday night and we were sitting down with our drinks in about 30 minutes. I was impressed. Our server, Dave was not only knowledgeable and quick to check on us, but friendly and personable as well. It seemed as though he had no other customers, and I certainly know that he did. Hands down the best service I've ever had at a restaurant. I got a piece of steak stuck in my throat and not only did the staff come to the bathroom to check on me to make sure I was okay twice they also made me a to-go plate of new food because I spit up water in my plate when trying to swallow. Hands down best staff I've ever encountered.
I have always loved going to eat here until last night. When we arrived it was steady, but not full blown crammed pack. Everything was great until my steak came out. I ordered a prime rib cooked medium. What I received was a well done piece of leather. Mentioned to the waitress that it was over done, she proceeds to take it to the manager who comes to tell me that they were out of medium prime rib and that was the lightest piece of prime rib that they had left to serve to me.
