DOUBLE CHECK YOUR TAKE OUT ORDERS! Ordered take out online and my girlfriend picked it up, I should have taken a picture of the online reciept and told her to double check everything. When she got here I noticed ALOT was missing. We had ordered 2 16oz smothered Prime ribs with blue cheese crumbles and 2 smothered baked potatoes with 2 ceasar salads. Great place either for a family meal, date, or just to go sit at the bar and catch a game. The atmosphere is very laid back and friendly and the food is simply amazing! The staff always goes above and beyond to take care of their customers. My kids favorite is going on their birthday and getting to sit on the saddle while the staff sing their version of happy birthday. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.
My husband and I ate Texas Roadhouse, the one on Powers in Colorado Springs, for our anniversery. The service was perfect! So friendly and kind. The food was fantastic! We had never eaten at one before and we were so happy with everything. They manager payed us a visit and she was so kind! She gave us a free sample of ribs and explained how everything is done there! I used to enjoy this place. But the last three times my husband and I have been to the Powers location we have been sadly disappointed in the quality of the food and the cleanliness of the place. To start, the wooden blinds looked like little kids with grubby hands had consistently been all over them and they hadn't been cleaned in months. These guys do it right. From the pork chops, salmon, sirloin, and chicken ... everything was the best. The salads are terific, as are the baked and sweet potatoes. For some reason, the free peanuts on the tables are different than the ones they sell. The free ones are smaller and more salty. Use call ahead seating to reduce your wait time.
The food here is GREAT... I've never been disapointed.
