Great family oriented place to eat, and listen to some great country music.
This is my favorite BBQ joint in San Antonio, hands down! Their BBQ is so good and tender. Sides are yummy and lots of great choices. Wish they had sodas...but they have tea and lemonade only. They have indoor picnic bench seating and outdoor tables and chairs for parties and dance hall area. Place is decked out in old-timey antiques...so cute! Only other complaint is all the flies. Those things know good BBQ when they see it! Pointer: get the pecan cobbler. Omg so sinfully good!
We live in Bulverde, but will gladly make the 45 minute drive all the way across town just to eat at Texas Pride. We love their food (be sure to try their cheesy potatoes), the service is great, and the atmosphere is awesome! We always make a point to take our out of town guests to Texas Pride!

Food was fantastic, staff was great, scenery was amazing and loved the antique setup!! This will definitely be a regular BBQ spot for me.
This is a great BBQ joint. Visiting for work from Charlotte. If I lived here I would be a regular. We went with a very large group from work and they took care of us quickly and the food was great.
I love this place, never disappoints me!! The food is always fresh and amazing!
Took my lovely wife...first time for both of us. Showed up right before they closed. They invited us in with warm, friendly smiles. From the wait staff, to the live music... AWESOME. Would definitely recommend it....and family friendly too.
