I was a patient for surgery that was canceled because of discovery of a heart condition that should have been known after extensive testing by a cardiologist.. That's not the hospitals fault. After the halting, I was not informed by the surgeon of the problem, he disappeared. The hospital lied to me about arranged care at their HCA hospital. I was sent to the hospital. Texas Orthopedic Hospital offers the best patient care I've ever experienced at any hospital. The staff, including doctors, nurses, and technical personnel, is incredible! The nurses, in particular, showed me seemingly endless patience, care, and concern. Throughout my stay, I felt less like a patient and more like a person. My needs were essential to the team. I am so grateful to everyone who assisted in my care.
