I went to the clinic today for an appointment that I had been waiting for a month just to find out I did not have an appointment. I have 2 emails and 4 text confirming appointment and to fill out documents. The girl in the front wanted to give me a phone number for me to solve the problem instead of her getting on the phone since it was their mistake. Checked In, sat there for 20 minutes at which time a nurse came out and asked, "Who I was, and why I was there". Informed her of my appointment time, arrival time, and what labs were needed to be drawn. Fast forward a month later, come to find out incorrect labs were drawn! Texas Oncology’s hematology department is the most incompetent medical office I’ve ever dealt with. They repeatedly failed to order the correct labs, didn’t get the right medications, ignored my requests, and delayed care for weeks. Staff were rude, dismissive, and acted like my health was an inconvenience. Because of their negligence, my surgery had to be canceled — completely avoidable if they’d done their jobs. In my opinion, this place is a risk to patient safety and should be investigated.

Long waits 1-1/2 hr just for a meet and greet. Front staff not concerned. We finally left after waiting in an exam room for an hr with no explanation.

Dr. Ram is great! The nursing staff is so friendly and nice! But ever since Apryl left, the administration side is TERRIBLE! I had a virtual appointment in March, was not called or notified at all that it had been cancelled. I messaged and called repeatedly and it took 3 weeks to get any communication back and get rescheduled! In March I got my labs drawn for my March appointment but now they are asking me again for those results even though they were sent by the lab AND I sent a copy in the portal, which of course can’t be ... read more
