Not a good experience at all here. Being diagnosed with cancer was the most scariest thing I’ve ever experienced in life. Something no one ever wants to hear. I felt like a number here or just another cancer patient, no big deal to them right?! And everything felt rushed and so much like just a business. This place is horrible. It's a cancer racket. The answering service is non existent so if you are sick and need to get help your call is put on hold for a minimum of 25 minutes then it disconnects. Extremely frustrating Update. They rehab their phones and now they are great everyone so far has been very competent
Make sure your doctor puts in for them to schedule you for your next follow up appointment or you will not get an appointment. Had Dr. Kueck originally. She was awesome. After she left Dr. Loar was assigned to take over. I saw him once. Can’t get a response as to scheduling my 6 month appointment. Frustrating incompetent scheduling system.
Fortunately, my experience at Texas Oncology was superb. A terrifying metastases of my primary tumor brought me here. From the front desk to the benefits specialist, I was treated with care and compassion. Dr. Michael Herman, my radiation oncologist, took incredible care of me.
