Service was horrible. Server couldn't keep up with the three tables she was assigned. We would ask for something and she would forget. We were there about and hour and half because it took so long to get our food.
We went to dine there only to find out we could no longer use our gift card we received as a gift. The manager said that Landry's recently bought them out and we ended up paying out of pocket. Heads up if you have a Texas Land and Cattle gift card. It would have been nice if they honored the gift card or maybe offered a discount.
We had 6 people in our party. I ordered a Pina Colada and it was one of the best Pina Coladas that I have ever had! Our waiter was very good and attentive. The whole meal went very smoothly from beginning to end. We ordered the appetizer blooming onion and again was delicious. A couple of us ordered their potato soup along with our order and was also very delicious! We all had steaks except one person had Tortilla Soup and we all had salads. The salads were excellent. Food was not what i ordered. Very displeased. Will not go back
Even though I ordered that chicken fried steak, the chicken fried chicken was delicious. My husband's well done chopped steak was not well done and lacked gravy. The queso and chips could have used a few more chips. Okay, a lot more chips. Definitely over priced. However our server was great.
Attempted to celebrate my 50th birthday here. The two managers I had to deal with were like night and day. One gave me this very easy going atmosphere the other was giving me a hard time as I was driving into the restaurant. The staff here made dividing a check more difficult than it had to be. At the end we were told we had an $80 bill left over, meaning at least 3 people in my party didn't pay. I paid it in order to avoid a scene in front of my guest. I love our waiter every time we go to a CTRA meeting. The food is excellent and the service is great.
Great venue, great staff (Kyle is just the best). The restaurant is the home of the Central Texas Republican Assembly and we meet there on the Third Thursday of Every month. Thank You for all you do for us, and me personally.
